About Me

I am an ADHD mom raising an ADHD daughter and an Autistic/ADHD son.

By the time I finished elementary school, I had lived in eight houses in five states from Florida to Oregon. Books and art supplies were my constant, loyal companions.

As a child, I loved a good grocery store coloring contest.

I began to draw as soon as I could hold a crayon, but I stepped away from art in my teen years because I didn't feel like I fit in with the rest of the art crowd. 

In college, I got over myself and received a B.A. in fine art and graphic design with a minor in English literature.

I've worked as an art director at an advertising agency, a designer for a magazine as well as a freelance artist.

At any point in the day, you'll find me with coffee, a Diet Coke or dark chocolate in my hand.

One day, I hope to be writing books as well as illustrating them.

I'm currently working from my couch and dreaming of having a little studio space I can call my own.
